Project Engineer
Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

Sherry Laboratories is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to work in its Laboratory in Broken Arrow, OK.

Candidates must have a bachelors degree or equivalent experience in one of the following disciplines: Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer or Material Science, or other related scientific field. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing duties that ensure the completion of complex testing activities and special projects in a timely manner. Customer service aspects of the position will require the candidate to have excellent communication skills. Special consideration will be given to candidates with prior laboratory experience and manufacturing or testing experience of composite materials.

Duties will include review of requests for complex jobs, preparation of test plans that detail requirements & expectations of orders, management of work flow required to complete complex projects, preparation of professional and legally defendable test reports, development of composite testing procedures that meet Nadcap requirements, testing using laboratory instruments, and periodic log-in of test samples. Duties are expected to be performed in accordance with the laboratory’s quality system requirements.
