Project Description:

The student will:

  • Perform test procedures on environmental samples utilizing modern analysis techniques
  • Prepare analytical standards and document their preparation;
  • Prepare environmental samples using various extraction, separation, concentration techniques and document their preparation;
  • Maintain and help troubleshoot and repair test equipment and maintain records of all procedures performed and results generated;
  • Perform instrument calibrations, method detection limit studies, and performance evaluation studies.
