Project Description:
The student will receive a great deal of practical hands-on experience
with sample and media preparation, laboratory equipment use, immunoassays,
DNA amplification, microscope work, immunofluorescent assays, microbe
identification, and a multitude of laboratory analysis techniques.
Experience with asceptic technique and basic math for dilutions is preferred.
Basic knowledge of biosafety would be a bonus. The student should be
self-motivated and able to work alone or in a group.
