Certifications & Accreditations

Few labs around the world carry the range of professional accreditations enjoyed by Sherry Laboratories. That means OEMs, fabricators and end users can rely on a wider range of services for metals, alloys and materials. Specialized testing, including chemical, mechanical and metallurgical evaluations are performed in accordance with the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), American Petroleum Institute (API), American Welding Society (AWS), Federal, Military or individual customer specifications. Our metallurgical laboratories have been accredited through PRI Nadcap, as well as the American Association of Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) for chemical, physical, mechanical and fastener testing. They also meet the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 -- the general requirements for the Competence of Calibration and Testing Laboratories for Mechanical, Chemical and Fastener testing as outlined in the Fastener Quality Act (FQA).

Sherry’s environmental laboratories offer services covering a spectrum of issues, including the testing of wastewater, stormwater, land applied sludge, solid and hazardous waste, ground water, drinking water and soil for industrial pretreatment, National Pollutant Discharge and Elimination System (NPDES), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Safe Drinking Water Act and Underground Storage Tank (UST) regulatory programs.
